The 2017 BOSS User Conference and Training was held at the Marriott Buckhead Atlanta on May 18 & 19. Thanks to all of the attendees for making this year's conference such a great success!
Thanks also to our keynote speakers Dan Gordon and Kirk Talbott from City of Atlanta for their awesome presentations and to Debra Folk, Deputy IT Director, Aiken County Government for chairing this year's event.
Learn - The agenda included guest speakers that provided great insights. Dan Gordon wowed the audience by providing an overview of the various challenges faced and how he leveraged Technology. He shared very valuable information on how to get the buy-in from elected officials to invest in the right technology and tools. Kirk Talbott’s presentation went deep into implementing best practices and the need for building a great team. The BOSS Team provided details of all future product enhancements and breakout sessions were held for both BOSS Support Central 4.0 and BOSSDesk. This allowed users to explore product details in depth with BOSS product specialists.
Share - As in the past, the 2017 User Conference was a forum where our customers shared their experience and applications from using BOSS products. Several customers presented their success stories with great interaction with other attendees. Debra Folk, Deputy Director, Aiken County Government chaired the conference.
Network - An important aspect of the BOSS User Conference is to have plenty of time for networking. There were long scheduled breaks in the agenda in addition to breakfast and lunch, and on Thursday night the attendees were treated to a special event at Agatha’s Murder Mystery Theater which was very memorable.
